VMware* Hardware Compatibility Guide

Intel® ESAA-certified VMware recipes specify tested configurations that use Intel Server Boards and Systems. Intel OEMs, resellers, and system integrators who use Intel server configurations based on VMware recipes can make a submission to be listed as VMware-certified hardware. Please note that Intel ESAA members only receive free support/certification on Intel-specific configurations/platforms that VMware has already certified. Please allow 3-4 weeks after submission for listing.

VMware is asking all Server Manufacturers to enter their equivalency information into the VMware Server Certification Equivalency Tool (SCET). The SCET allows Authorized VMware System Builders to submit directly to VMware their server platforms to be posted on VMware's Hardware Compatibility Guide. This tool is meant to simplify and speed up the posting process for our System Builder Partners. The SCET is accessible via the VMware System Builder Central portal. This tool is only accessible to Authorized VMware System Builder program members. The program is free to join and provides your company with many unique training, licensing and support benefits.

System Builder Platforms that are successfully approved through the Server Certification Equivalency Tool are now eligible to display the VMware Ready Certified logo. This logo helps End Customers quickly identify that the Server platform is VMware certified using the relevant hardware certification guide and test suites. To learn more about this logo program and to submit your systems for logo approval, click here. Note that Authorized VMware System Builders must be in good standing to utilize the logo. Please email tapalliance@vmware.com if you have any specific questions and include "VMware Ready" in the subject line.
