SUSE* Linux Enterprise YES Certified*Resellers who purchase Intel® Server Products and are members of the SUSE* PartnerNet program may be eligible to leverage an existing SUSE* YES Certified* product from Intel through the 3C* copy process. The 3C copy process allows reseller hardware to be granted the same certification status as models previously certified by Intel Corporation. When the 3C copy is created, the new bulletin request will be changed to reflect the reseller's company name, address and product name. The 3C copy process requires that resellers have their own SUSE Developer Service (DS) contract. If they do not, they may request that Intel create the new bulletin request leveraging Intel's SUSE DS contract. If the reseller requests the 3C copy using their own SUSE DS contract, they must obtain an official authorization from Intel before the 3C is requested; this authorization must be passed on to SUSE. This process has been developed to help Intel® Server System vendors receive SUSE Linux Enterprise YES Certified status in a timely and cost-effective manner. For this program, Intel assumes the responsibility of performing the testing of Intel-based reference systems per SUSE's standard hardware certification process. The Intel server customer will file a request to Intel to request a 3C copy of an existing Intel bulletin.
