This Intel® ESAA recipe details a certified installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux* 5.4 on Intel® Server Board S3420GP. This RHEL* 5.4 version features enhancements in virtualization, storage/filesystem, security and developer tools. This recipe contains the hardware and software components required for Red Hat Pass-Through Certification. Pass-Through Certification refers to the ability for third-party systems to be granted the same certification status as models previously certified by Intel Corporation. Currently, Pass-Through Certification is only available to vendors who purchase Intel® Server Boards and/or Systems and Red Hat Ready Business Partner, Advanced & Premier Program with Red Hat, Inc.
