Platform HPC* 2.0.1 Intel® Cluster Ready on Red Hat Enterprise Linux* 5.5 - Intel® Server Board S5500BC
This Intel® ESAA recipe describes the steps required to build a Platform HPC* 2.0.1 and Intel® Cluster Ready HPC cluster based upon the Intel® Server Board S5500BC - from hardware assembly through performance testing and cluster application development. It includes various options for hardware design, interconnects, management, BIOS and OS provisioning, job schedulers, cluster tools and cluster application development packages and runtime environments. It also includes instructions for Intel® Cluster Ready Pass-Through Certification.

The Intel® Server Board S5500BC has flexible scalability and expandability in I/O, memory, LAN and storage which is designed for deploying web, email or print servers, or business applications. Ideal for remote or branch offices seeking enterprise class manageability, the Intel Server Board S5500BC supports up to two Intel® Xeon® processors 5500 or 5600 series, and can be used in rack or pedestal configurations.
