Open-E Data Storage Server* - Intel® Storage System SSR212MC2

This recipe uses Open-E* Data Storage Server* and Intel® Storage System SSR212MC2 to create a storage system for applications that is fast, flexible and reliable. Open-E* DSS* is already pre-installed on an internal USB flash module (disk on module) and with the unique Web interface, no special knowledge is required even for the configuration of the most eccentric storage strategy. Intel® Storage System SSR212MC2 provides 2x quad-core support, 12x SAS/SATA connection (mixed assembly possible), up to 32 GB RAM, up to 12 TByte storage space (limited by the capacity of current hard drives), RAID 0,1,10,5,50, 4-port Gbit Ethernet and NICs with iSCSI-boot support are only some of the configuration possibilities.
